At Blue Door Veterinary Services, we want to be able to help our patients with pet emergencies, but as a small practice, we might not always be available, especially if we’re on the wrong side of town or if it is outside regular hours. If you have an emergency when we’re closed or can’t reach us, please contact a local emergency pet care hospital for immediate assistance. While we can assist with some urgent needs, please note we’re not a 24-hour facility and may lack advanced diagnostic tools and longer-term care capabilities. For serious issues, it’s often best to go directly to an emergency facility to ensure the best outcome. We want to support you and your pet as much as possible, but sometimes getting immediate care elsewhere may be the best option in emergency situations.
